World Archery are about to start out on a new adventure with the official inauguration of their "World Archery Excellence Centre” (WAEC) in December in Chalet-à-Gobet, just north of Lausanne. A partner of ThinkSport, the centre will become a hub for Olympic, elite and recreational archery worldwide. It will host training camps, individual athletes, judging and coaching seminars, and become the primary venue for World Archery’s development initiatives. Equally important, it will also be a multi-sport venue offering activities to the communities of Lausanne and the canton of Vaud. WAEC is featuring state-of-the-art sports equipment, indoor and outdoor venues, and on-site classrooms.

Everything is set for a fun evening with bows and arrows, followed by drinks. It will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with others from the sports environment, and, at the same time, try out a fun sport.
