Registration now open for the second FAI International Drones Conference and Expo

Following last year’s successful inaugural event, the FAI International Drones Conference and Expo is set to return for its second edition, which, as part of the EPFL Drone Days, will take place from 31 August to 2 September 2018 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). If you would like to gain unique insights into the latest drone technology and hear experts reveal how drones will shape our future, then register for the event now.

The FAI International Drones Conference and Expo comprises the following:

1.Conference
Tailored to organizations, businesses and individuals, the conference will feature international speakers and expert-led discussionson the topics of sports, safety and innovation within the rapidly-developing drone world.

2.Expo
Attracting hundreds of drone industry leaders and experts, the Expo will combine temporary conference-related exhibits with the EPFL’s robotics-focused exhibition. It is open to the public and conference attendees. Admission to the Expo is free, so don’t miss this unique opportunity to find out more about the drones we can expect to see in the skies of the future and how they will shape tomorrow’s world.

3.DRONEMASTERS MeetUps

Another integral part of the event, DRONEMASTERS MeetUps are an opportunity to connect with fellow drone enthusiasts from business, science, society and politics, who will be sharing their insights and ideas with the aim of growing the drone ecosystem.An incubator focusing on automated aerial mobility and drones in all areas, DRONEMASTERS also created the Dronathon, a 42.195km marathon for commercial drones.

The EPFL Drone Days also include the 2018 SRSA Cup, a competition organized by the Swiss Rotor Sports Association (SRSA) as part of the FAI Drone Racing World Cup 2018. Attracting the best pilots in the world and offering a superb display of top-level drone racing, the event is open to the public and all conference participants, and admission is free.
