The digital revolution and integrity in sport will be the focus of this year’s edition of “Sport Future Rendez-Vous”, an annual event for expert discussions on pressing topics in sport. Jointly organised by ThinkSport and the University of Lausanne (UNIL) from 9 to 10 May 2017, Sport Future Rendez-Vous 2017 will feature top level speakers from various sectors including :

• Claude Ruibal, Infront Sports & Media Executive Director of Digital, Production and Sport Solutions;
• Horesh Ben Shitrit, Second Spectrum Director of Computer Vision Products;
• Tim Witcher, Head of Sport at Agence France Presse (AFP);
• Susanne Schödel, General Secretary of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI);
• Bengt Kayser, UNIL-ISSUL Professor for Sports Ethics and Anti-Doping;
• Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, President of the World Lottery Association;
• Manon Schick, General Director of Amnesty International Switzerland.

The first day of the event will feature debates on innovative information and communication technologies which have the potential to transform sports performance and organisation, and to improve spectator experience. On day two, experts tackling sports integrity on a daily basis will look at how to promote the bright side of sport and how to define a new sportsmanship for the 21st century. Throughout the event, young academics will enrich the programme with short presentations about their dissertations in the respective fields. The event is in English only.
