The 2018 European Athletics Convention will take place at the Hotel Royal Savoy in Lausanne, Switzerland from 25-27 October.

The European Athletics Convention is designed to support our Member Federations, offering opportunities for education, networking and socialising, along with the usual area or interest group meetings and calendar planning activities. 

The European Athletics Golden Tracks award ceremony will also take place on Friday 26 October at the SwissTech Convention Centre when the male and female European Athletes of the Year and Rising Stars will be crowned. 

The Golden Tracks award ceremony took place last year in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2017 alongside the European Athletics Congress-Convention. 

Germany's Johannes Vetter and Greece's Ekaterini Stefanidi were crowned the male and female 2017 European Athletes of the Year while Norway's Karsten Warholm and Ukraine's Yuliya Levchenko were named the male and female 2017 Rising Stars.
