MotionLab offers health checks for athletes following lockdown

MotionLab, a therapeutic and performance sports institute based in Mont sur Lausanne, is at the service of athletes who need to find out about their health and performance levels following the lockdown situation during the COVID-2019 pandemic. Most athletes have had to change completely their training quantities and methods during this particular period and are keen to get “back to normal” as soon as possible.

“MotionLab provides the facilities and the expertise to help athletes get back on track as soon as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic”, says Research and Development Director Francis Degache. He specifies: “We offer individual sessions for performance diagnostic testing, on-site training, access to hypoxic chambers and cryotherapy, all in one place and in a safe environment.”

MotionLab’s premises comprise 3000 square metres and its infrastructure includes a synthetic ice rink, an AlterG anti-gravity treadmill, artificial football grass, a 40m indoor athletic track, fitness apparatus, an isokinetic dynamometer, biomechanics and physiology labs and the largest hypoxic and climatic chambers in Europe.
