Register NOW for the Lucerne 2021 Haskins Innovation Challenge

The 2021 Haskins Innovation Challenge, which aims to reinvent the major sport event of tomorrow as part of the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade legacy, will kick off on 16 October. Designed by students for students, participants from Swiss universities are invited to develop smart ideas on innovative and sustainable sport events, which guarantee positive legacies for the host region and its population. An exciting chance to make an impact, help reshape the future of sport and pitch the best concepts to a knowledgeable audience at the final event during the Universiade in December!

Who can take part in the Challenge?
Participation is free and open to students and alumni from any Swiss higher education institution. Contestants will be assigned to a team of 4 to 5 members. It is also possible to participate with some friends in the same team.

Seize the opportunity
Co-organised by the Haskins Sport Society, the HUB Entrepreneurship and Innovation of UNIL, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Swiss University Sports, ThinkSport, and with the support of FISU, this is a unique opportunity to meet sport enthusiasts and changemakers from different backgrounds. Through the Challenge, participants will get in-depth insights and training from some of the major key players of the sports industry. Working closely with the team and experts from the industry will foster their skills and knowledge of the sporting world and put any innovative mindset to work!
