Sign up now for Sport Future Rendez-Vous 2020

The rise and future of Switzerland as an Olympic epicentre and related image challenges will be the focus of this year’s Sport Future Rendez-Vous, which will be held online on 10 September 2020. Participants will be able to interact and ask questions from their computer or smartphone. Jointly organised by the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and ThinkSport, the annual event features expert discussions on pressing topics in sport. 

Jean-Loup Chappelet, UNIL Emeritus Professor, will introduce the topic and then hand over to keynote speaker Nicolas Bideau, Ambassador and Director of Présence Suisse.

The subsequent panel discussion on this very topic will be moderated by Jennifer Covo, journalist at RTS, and feature:

• Nicolas Bideau, Ambassador, Présence Suisse Director
• Jean-Loup Chappelet, UNIL Emeritus Professor
• Virginie Faivre, Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee Lausanne 2020 President
• Quentin Tonnerre, Doctoral student specialised in Swiss diplomacy and sport
