Startup corner: get to know Archinisis!
Involved in a startup and need some inspiration on how to grow your business faster? Then check out this clip about ThinkSport member and startup Archinisis, which specialises in video and sensor-based sport performance analysis, all with a view to optimising athlete training. Archinisis software records and analyses every move athletes make in sports such as cross-country and alpine skiing. This young company presented its innovative products at the first and second editions of THE SPOT. Archinisis has also just been selected by Switzerland Global Enterprise to become part of the SwissTech Pavilion at next year’s CES in Las Vegas, an annual event for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.
Archinisis has been shrewd in seeking support from Fri Up, an official body based in the canton of Fribourg and which advises and helps startups and entrepreneurs free of charge. Similar initiatives are running in other cantons and at a national level as well, among them Vaud’s Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI), which supports enterprise creation and development by providing direct financial incentives for specific business projects. It also aids the development of Vaud-based SMEs and startups that are keen to innovate or expand.
