THE SPOT sparks new partnership between Eurovision Sport and Dazzl.tv

Eurovision Sport is partnering with tech start-up Dazzl.tv, offering EBU Members an innovative mobile app and cloud-based solution for the live production and delivery of video content. The recent announcement follows the success of Dazzl.tv during the Start-up battle at THE SPOT in May, where the young tech company won the Eurovision Sport Award in one of the preliminary rounds.

Ryan Jespersen, VP Marketing and Sales at Dazzl, said during THE SPOT: “Think Sport and THE SPOT are doing a great job of creating a platform for technology providers like ourselves to really get in the hands of sport federations and our target market for this product. It is a great avenue for us to market our product and to let people know that they can actually use live video to promote their sports.”

Dazzl’s cloud-based video production suite streamlines live multi camera video production. Using a cloud dashboard, live content can be captured from professional cameras, smartphones, encoders and drones in multiple locations. Content is then edited and streamed direct to web and social media platforms, from any location, providing an easy and affordable way for broadcaster to enrich their digital content.

Franck Choquard, Eurovision Sport’s Head of Content and Servicing explains: “Preliminary work with Dazzl has proven very successful so we are pleased to now enter into a stronger partnership. The platform is a great offer for our members and we are excited to see it in action. We are always exploring collaborations with new companies and products, seeking out the best creative solutions for members and Federation partners to enhance their digital publication and complement the television experience EBU members are delivering.”
