Live High, Train Low
Set a better analysis of constraints in order to optimize altitude training methods.
The goal of the project is to better define altitude training methods. ISSUL runs a set of experiments with athletes training at low altitude but sleeping at altitude above 2000m high or in hypoxic chambers in order to optimize their performance.
Recent findings show that real altitude induces larger adaptations than simulated altitude and that team-sports players can largely benefit of high-intensity training in altitude and the combination of the different hypoxic methods.
