RAAM Race Across America - Teampulse
The project aims at training sedentary students and co-workers from HESAV and its partners for the RAAM, the Race Across America, an annual transcontinental bicycle race of 5000 km. HESAV’s team, Teampulse, will be composed of height runners and a support team. Training of the team has already begun with a specific program while the support team monitor performances to collect data about fatigue and efforts needed for the race.
The goal of the project is to develop training programs adapted to sedentary populations, develop new and innovative technologies and promote sporting activities to populations. A fundraising during the race will also be dedicated to sporting activities for handicapped children.
