Within EPFL-Rivages project, development of a computer vision for sail measurement.

EPFL’s Computer Vision Laboratory (CVLAB) has developed an amazing measurement tool. It can define the three-dimensional form and position of an object from a sequence of images taken by a single camera. With the experience of the Rivages team and the help of Space 3D, this system was adapted to the boat aiming to provide a support to optimize the sail design and make adjustments during sailing.
