Gold partner Havas Sports to share exclusive insights on fan engagement and new technologies at THE SPOT

Havas Sports builds meaningful connections between sports organisations, fans and brands. With its cross-sector approach, Havas communications group is a perfect partner for THE SPOT! The Havas group has been a loyal participant to THE SPOT since its first edition and this year, Havas Sports became a gold partner of the event, demonstrating their commitment alongside Think Sport to deliver fresh ideas and solutions for the sports world. Here is a snapshot of what to expect:

On 18 May, Havas Sports will participate in the workshop on “New Technology and Digital Revolution” and share its vision of the future of fan engagement and of web3 potential.

“Havas is at the leading edge of web3, recently becoming the first communications group to plant its flag in The Sandbox,”

explains Yann Baffalio, Head of Havas Sports at Havas Switzerland.

“Last year, we have launched Metaverse by Havas, a new consulting, creative and media offer, dedicated to brands that, in the metaverse, see opportunities to reinvent branding, storytelling, experience, audience targeting and revenue generation.” 

Yann adds: “At THE SPOT, we will also present exclusive results from a unique proprietary research “Metaverse: the age of experience”, the newest Prosumer study to better understand consumer attitudes toward fully immersive digital experiences and the implications for brands.”

In addition, Havas Sports will showcase a recent and pragmatic example of a FRM platform, called “My World of Cycling”, in the Demo Zone. This programme has been developed for the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) and powered by solution (Havas Sports’ technology partner) so fans across the globe can fully live their passion for cycling and be rewarded at the same time.

Havas Sports is also a founding partner of “The Sport Foundry” approach, a unique methodology launched by Think Sport, Le Tremplin, La Source and Havas Sports to support sport organisations in designing their innovation roadmap to prepare the future of their sports. Further to THE SPOT 2022, a survey on innovation in sports will be addressed to an extensive panel of International Federations to assess their readiness for change and identify the most impactful hot topics.
