The Lausanne based International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS), recently announced short – compact topical learning programmes for sport executives and managers to address the needs of the industry.

Registration is now open for the short programme on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sport, to take place from 19 February to 1 March. Participants will be equipped with the tools and mindset needed to manage innovation efficiently.

The first part of the course will focus on conveying the key concepts behind innovation and design (of products, of offerings and of business models). Participants will get their hands on the world known Business Model Canva aimed at making them proficient at assessing their environment, iterating on designs and ideas, and evaluating business viability and sustainability. They will also learn to identify lucrative market opportunities but also refine their ideas using powerful tools like design thinking, branding, and storytelling.

The second part of the programme aims to ground these concepts in practice. Entrepreneurs will equip the participants with knowledge and skills to tell their story, approach the first phases of development or go for funding.
