Meet ThinkSport at the Swiss Innovation Forum
ThinkSport will present the Innovation Booster – Sport & Physical Activity at the upcoming Swiss Innovation Forum, organised by NZZ Connect on 30 November in Basel, Switzerland. The event brings together motivated start-ups, courageous idea generators and committed investors to drive the Swiss innovation landscape forward. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related opportunities and risks will be high on this year’s agenda. In addition, the Forum will feature the Swiss Technology Awards.
During a panel discussion on innovation culture, led by Innosuisse, ThinkSport will share insights into how Innovation Boosters can provide a unique platform for companies to explore and develop radical innovations in an easier and faster way than if they did it on their own. Since 2021, ThinkSport, together with the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), has been leading the Innovation Booster – Sport & Physical Activity, which is powered by Innosuisse. In this context, 13 Challenges have been tackled successfully to date and generated a number of meaningful solutions. One of the most prominent ones has been the development of smart built-in helmet sensors aiming to minimise long-term brain damage in contact sports, developed by EPFL spin-off Bearmind.
In addition, all ongoing Innovation Boosters will share a booth at the event’s “Experience Zone”, and surprise visitors with some exciting AI features.Back
